Human trafficking isn’t a distant issue. It’s happening in suburbs, workplaces, farms, homes, hospitality venues, and online forums across Australia and the world. Adults are coerced, deceived, or forced into domestic servitude, sexual exploitation, debt-bonded labour, forced criminality, and even organ removal. Many don’t self-identify as “victims” — especially migrants trapped by debts, threats, or document seizure. This is modern slavery, and together we can stop it.
What Human Trafficking Looks Like for Adults
Coercive control at work: withheld passports/IDs, threats of deportation, wages skimmed or not paid, forced overtime, debt bondage.
Domestic servitude: adults living at the workplace, restricted movement, surveillance, isolation from community.
Sexual exploitation: deception about job conditions, locked premises, escorts controlled by third parties, violence or threats.
Forced criminality: compelled to commit crimes (e.g., fraud, drug cultivation) under threat.

Christian persecution is among the greatest humanitarian crises of our time.
Today, more than 380 million Christians worldwide face oppression, discrimination, and violence simply for following Christ.
In places like Nigeria, Pakistan, India, North Korea, and the Middle East, believers are imprisoned, attacked, displaced, and stripped of their basic human dignity.
Their churches are destroyed. Their children are denied education. Their families live in constant fear. And yet—despite the danger—these courageous Christians continue to bear witness to the Gospel.
As members of the body of Christ, we cannot remain silent. Their struggle is our struggle. Their suffering is our call to action.
How Persecution Looks Today
Persecution comes in many forms:
Imprisonment – Believers jailed without fair trial.

Child trafficking is one of the greatest threats facing our young people today. It is not confined to distant places—it is a worldwide crisis that reaches into schools, communities, and homes. Traffickers exploit vulnerabilities, lure with false promises, and manipulate with fear and shame.
As the Knights Templar Foundation, we cannot stand idle. Our sacred duty is to defend the innocent, protect the vulnerable, and provide real hope for the future.
