Serving Christ. Defending the Helpless. Restoring Hope.

In a world where shadows grow long—where injustice, loneliness, and suffering touch too many lives—the ancient call of the Knights Templar is rising once again.

Not with the clash of steel or the march of armies… but with the quiet, unyielding strength of faith, service, and love in action.

Through the Knights Templar Foundation, the Knights and Dames of Ordre du Temple de Jérusalem walk the same road as our forebears—shielding the vulnerable, feeding the hungry, and standing firm where others turn away.

Our work is guided by the sacred words of our motto:

Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto Thy Name give glory.

What We Do

✠ Ministries of Service ✠

Every mission is an act of living faith—rooted in the 24 Virtues of Chivalry that shaped knights for centuries: charity, humility, justice, courage, mercy, perseverance, and honour.

We serve in ways that change lives:

  • The Silent Knight Program – Humble, anonymous acts of mercy for the poor, sick, and forgotten, offering hope with no thought of recognition.

  • Defence of the Helpless – Protecting the innocent, standing with the persecuted, and being a shield to those who have no one else.

  • Strengthening Christian Communities – Supporting churches, ministries, and fellowships through benevolence, training, and practical aid.

  • Humanitarian Outreach – Feeding the hungry, clothing the destitute, visiting the lonely, and offering counsel and prayer to the broken-hearted.

Every step we take is for the glory of Christ and the service of our neighbour.

✠ Your Place in This Mission ✠

The world does not change through good intentions alone—it changes when hearts rise to action.

You can take your place among us in three ways:

  1. Join the Order – Become part of a 900-year-old tradition of Christian knighthood. Walk the path of a Squire, Sergeant, Dame, or Knight, learning to live the virtues of service and honour.

  2. Volunteer Your Time – Stand shoulder-to-shoulder with us in acts of mercy, outreach, and ministry to the least, the last, and the lost.

  3. Support as a Donor – Fuel the mission. Every gift—whether $20 or $2,000—feeds the hungry, shelters the displaced, and keeps the light of Christ burning in dark places.

✠ Why It Matters ✠

A bowl of soup given in love can warm more than a body—it can ignite a soul with hope.

A night’s shelter can mean the difference between despair and the chance to rebuild a life.

A prayer spoken over the broken-hearted can call down peace where only fear once lived.

This is the work we have been called to.
This is the work you can share in.

Now is the time to rise.

Not for our glory, but for His.
Not for our gain, but for the lives we can touch together.

🕊 Will you answer the call?

Become a Knight. Be a volunteer. Give what you can.

Because when we stand together in Christ’s name—no darkness can stand against the light.

✠ Join us. Serve with us. Support us. ✠

Human Trafficking

Ministry Planning Companion

End Modern Slavery. Protect Adults at Risk.

Human trafficking isn’t a distant issue. It’s happening in suburbs, workplaces, farms, homes, hospitality venues, and online forums across Australia and the world. Adults are coerced, deceived, or forced into domestic servitude, sexual exploitation, debt-bonded labour, forced criminality, and even organ removal. Many don’t self-identify as “victims” — especially migrants trapped by debts, threats, or document seizure. This is modern slavery, and together we can stop it.

What Human Trafficking Looks Like for Adults

  • Coercive control at work: withheld passports/IDs, threats of deportation, wages skimmed or not paid, forced overtime, debt bondage.

  • Domestic servitude: adults living at the workplace, restricted movement, surveillance, isolation from community.

  • Sexual exploitation: deception about job conditions, locked premises, escorts controlled by third parties, violence or threats.

  • Forced criminality: compelled to commit crimes (e.g., fraud, drug cultivation) under threat.

  • Organised deception: fake job ads or recruitment scams moving adults across borders for exploitation. interpol.int+1

If something feels “off” — it probably is. Exploitation thrives on silence and confusion.

If You’re in Australia: How to Report (Safely)

  • Emergency: If someone is in immediate danger, call 000.

  • Report suspected trafficking/modern slavery to the Australian Federal Police (AFP) on 131 AFP (131 237) or lodge an online report. The AFP leads Australia’s trafficking and modern slavery investigations. Modern Slavery in Australia+1

  • Report information anonymously to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 (non-urgent intelligence). afp.gov.au

Why This Matters in Australia — Right Now

Recent Australian data show reports of trafficking/modern slavery continue to rise, with forced marriage, sexual servitude, trafficking out of Australia, and forced labour among the most reported offences. Underreporting remains severe: for every identified survivor, several may remain hidden. Australian Institute of Criminology+1

The AFP’s current strategy confirms Australia is primarily a destination country, with increasing reports and victim removals from harm — but community reporting is critical to find adults in plain sight. mta-sts.afp.gov.au

How the Ordre du Temple de Jérusalem (OTJ) Takes Action

We stand in the Templar tradition of defending the vulnerable. Here’s how our members, friends, and partners can make an immediate impact:

  1. Spot & Refer — Don’t Intervene Alone
Use the indicators above; document facts, not opinions, and refer to AFP (131 AFP) or Crime Stoppers (1800 333 000). Never confront exploiters. afp.gov.au+1

  2. Equip Your Community
Run awareness briefings at parishes, workplaces, and clubs using INTERPOL and UNODC Blue Heart materials; display hotline cards; include trafficking modules in volunteer onboarding. interpol.int+1

  3. Back Survivor Pathways
Fund local partners (e.g., Red Cross Support for Trafficked People Program) for emergency accommodation, transport, legal and casework support. Australian Red Cross

  4. Lead by Example in Procurement
Adopt the Modern Slavery Act guidance and audit suppliers for vestments, merchandise, catering, printing, and travel. Publish your statement and improve annually. Modern Slavery in Australia+1

  5. Stand in Public Solidarity
Mark World Day Against Trafficking (30 July) with Blue Heart events, prayer vigils, and charity drives; invite local stakeholders and share the reporting pathways widely. unodc.org

Standing With the Suffering Church

Christian persecution is among the greatest humanitarian crises of our time.

Today, more than 380 million Christians worldwide face oppression, discrimination, and violence simply for following Christ.

In places like Nigeria, Pakistan, India, North Korea, and the Middle East, believers are imprisoned, attacked, displaced, and stripped of their basic human dignity.

Their churches are destroyed. Their children are denied education. Their families live in constant fear. And yet—despite the danger—these courageous Christians continue to bear witness to the Gospel.

As members of the body of Christ, we cannot remain silent. Their struggle is our struggle. Their suffering is our call to action.

How Persecution Looks Today

Persecution comes in many forms:

  • Imprisonment – Believers jailed without fair trial.

  • Discrimination – Christians excluded from education, work, and healthcare.

  • Forced Conversions – Faith renounced under threat of violence.

  • Destruction of Property – Churches, schools, and homes burned or seized.

  • Violence – Beatings, kidnappings, torture, and killings.

This is not a distant problem. It is a present reality—happening right now.

Our Response as the Ordre du Temple de Jérusalem

The Ordre du Temple de Jérusalem (OTJ) has a sacred duty to act.

Rooted in the historic mission of the Knights Templar, we carry forward a legacy of defending the weak, protecting the oppressed, and serving Christ’s Church.

Through our global network of commanderies and charitable foundations, we are mobilizing prayer, advocacy, relief, and rebuilding initiatives. Our framework focuses on:

  1. Prayer & Awareness – Rallying believers worldwide to intercede for persecuted communities.

  2. Protection & Relief – Funding emergency aid, safehouses, and relocation support.

  3. Legal Aid & Advocacy – Defending Christians facing unjust imprisonment or blasphemy charges.

  4. Recovery & Resilience – Rebuilding churches, schools, and providing trauma care.

  5. Coalitions & Integrity – Partnering with trusted NGOs to maximize impact.

This is not optional—it is central to our calling.

Where Your Donations Go

When you give, you are providing:

  • Emergency food, shelter, and medical aid for families under attack.

  • Safehouses and relocation support for Christians fleeing persecution.

  • Legal defense for believers falsely accused under blasphemy or anti-conversion laws.

  • Reconstruction grants to restore destroyed churches and schools.

  • Scholarships and trauma counseling for children and youth displaced by violence.

Every dollar makes a direct difference in the life of a brother or sister who is suffering for Christ.

Child Trafficking

A Global Threat to Our Children

Child trafficking is one of the greatest threats facing our young people today. It is not confined to distant places—it is a worldwide crisis that reaches into schools, communities, and homes. Traffickers exploit vulnerabilities, lure with false promises, and manipulate with fear and shame.

As the Knights Templar Foundation, we cannot stand idle. Our sacred duty is to defend the innocent, protect the vulnerable, and provide real hope for the future.

Our Mission

We work to educate, equip, and empower children, families, and communities to recognise the dangers of exploitation and to build protective factors that reduce risk.

Our approach is practical, faith-driven, and rooted in service. By bringing awareness, fostering resilience, and standing as trusted advocates, we fight trafficking at its roots.

What We Do

  1. Awareness Programs

    • Deliver workshops in schools, churches, and community centres.

    • Provide resources for parents and guardians to talk openly with their children about risks and “red flags.”

    • Train youth to use international hand signals for help and recognise unsafe online behaviour.

  2. Protective Factors

    • Build self-worth in children and young adults by helping them recognise their value, gifts, and potential.

    • Encourage strong relationships with family, mentors, peers, and community members.

    • Teach the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships.

  3. Practical Safety Skills

    • Promote safe internet use: protecting personal information, avoiding online predators, and spotting “too good to be true” job offers.

    • Equip youth with strategies to exit harmful conversations, block unsafe contacts, and seek trusted help.

  4. Advocacy & Support

    • Stand alongside children who may feel shame or fear after being manipulated.

    • Advocate for them with compassion and without judgment.

    • Connect them with resources, counselling, and community support services.

Where Your Donations Go

Your generous contribution makes this ministry possible.

Here’s how your support is implemented in real terms:

  • $50 funds child protection resource packs (flyers, posters, digital guides) for a local school or parish.

  • $100 supports the delivery of a community awareness workshop, equipping parents, teachers, and youth leaders.

  • $250 helps us create and distribute online safety materials, including videos and digital campaigns targeted at vulnerable youth.

  • $500 funds the training of local advocates to serve as trusted adults, able to spot and respond to signs of trafficking.

  • $1,000+ supports partnerships with counselling services and shelters that provide immediate, practical care to survivors.

Every donation, no matter the size, directly fuels education, awareness, and protection efforts.

How We Implement Change

  • We partner with schools, churches, and community groups to deliver in-person workshops.

  • We use donations to print and distribute awareness materials at no cost to families.

  • We produce digital campaigns that reach youth where they spend their time—online and on social media.

  • We invest in training volunteers and leaders so that every community has trusted adults ready to respond.

How to Report

(Within Australia and its Territories)

If you suspect child exploitation, trafficking, or abuse, report it immediately to:

If you are in danger, call 000.

Join Us in the Fight

No child should ever live in fear, be exploited for profit, or lose their innocence.

Together, we can confront the evil of child trafficking with courage, compassion, and practical action.

Pray for Persecuted Christians

A Prayer for

Persecuted Christians

Eternal Father, almighty shepherd of your people,

You have promised that those who follow Jesus will be persecuted.

We pray for your children around the world who are suffering mistreatment, imprisonment, loss of possessions, and threats of death for their allegiance to you.

By your mighty power keep them faithful to you.

Be their shield and defence, their refuge and their stronghold.

Shelter them under the shadow of your wings, that they may not fear their enemies, and help us to uphold them in prayer, that together we may walk in the light of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and not be ashamed to confess him as Lord, to the glory of your name,

Amen.
