The Ministry Against Human Trafficking exists to confront the evil of human exploitation through awareness, education, prevention-focused action, and survivor-centred support pathways.

Human trafficking and modern slavery are profound assaults on human dignity. This ministry responds with seriousness, compassion, and disciplined restraint.

Ministry Toolkits & Resources

The Ministry Toolkits are a structured collection of practical resources designed to equip individuals, churches, schools, and community leaders to respond to human trafficking and modern slavery in a safe, lawful, and effective way.

Each toolkit provides clear guidance, ready-to-use materials, and step-by-step frameworks tailored to specific roles—from volunteers and parish teams to educators and community partners. They are supported by professional visuals, training content, and referral pathways to ensure consistent and responsible action.

At their core, the toolkits exist to:

  • Raise awareness

  • Strengthen safeguarding

  • Guide safe responses

  • Enable lawful referral to authorities and accredited NGOs

Together, they form a unified system that transforms awareness into protection, action, and support.

The Run • Hide • Tell framework is a simple, nationally recognised safety model designed to guide individuals during a hostile or life-threatening situation.

It provides clear priorities under pressure:

  • Run – Move away from danger immediately if it is safe to do so. Distance is your first protection.

  • Hide – If escape is not possible, find secure cover, stay out of sight, and remain quiet.

  • Tell – Contact authorities as soon as it is safe, providing clear and accurate information.

At its core, the framework is built on one principle: preserve life above all else—your own and others. It replaces panic with clarity, helping individuals act quickly, safely, and lawfully in critical moments.
